TikTok gave this assurance
They sent an email to employees stating that, after being inaugurated on January 20th, President Trump said he will work on a plan for a solution which will bring TikTok back. TikTok stated that all teams are also aiming for services to be restored as soon as possible.

Users were blocked from accessing both apps as of 10:30 pm local time However, this is expected during reign of President-elect Trump. The decision comes amid a series of days where users of the platform had to make guesses and assumptions regarding the future of the platform.
